| Welcome to Cloud Castle Arabians and Sport Horses! Cloud Castle Arabians was founded in 2001 with the acquisition of the black Arabian stallion, Racat. From there began a quest to acquire a couple special black mares for him. With the help of my mother and grandmother I was able to purchase two such mares from Bonnie Vollmer of Double Diamond Ranch in North Dakota. Midnite Mikkie and Darq Gaza. That was the beginning. In 2005 I met my husband, Lance Rasmussen. Raised with the idea that Arabians were crazy spooky horses he quickly gained a new respect and understanding of the breed. In 2006 we purchased the homozygous black Arabian stallion, BP Tali Tigar from Black Pearl Arabians. Tigar has been a dream come true for us. He is the kindest, most intelligent horse that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Our son, Wyatt, was born in April of 2007 and we were married later that fall. April 2009 brought us our sweet baby girl, Madalynn. In 2009 we leased the Thoroughbred mare, Lily Millie. December 2010 found us with the acquisition of the Thoroughbred stallion, Frisky Spider, and thus began a new adventure. In 2011 Cloud Castle Arabians became Cloud Castle Arabians and Sport Horses. We strive to raise horses that are not only beautiful, but personable, intelligent, and physically sound. Our foals are all imprinted at birth and allowed to live in the open as a horse should be for the first few years of their life so they can learn to be a horse. Any of the horses that we train learn the ropes out on the trail before they become show or working horses. This allows them to become confident and comfortable with most any situation. It also helps keep them mentally sound and happy and forges a deeper trust in their human companions. I want to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for visiting our site. Please take a look around a nd feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.
